Adam Danzig is from England and is currently touring Australia. AWF Fansite thought we would get his thoughts on Australia and our wrestling scene.

Hi Adam, hows things?
Good thanks, though I'm feeling pretty beaten up right now.

How long have you been in in Australia? Have you been here before?
Been here for a couple of months, and yeah its my first time here.

How are you finding it here? Coming into our summer the weather must be a bit different for you.
Well when I first got here it was your winter time, but it was still hotter than it ever gets back home in England. The scenery and wildlife's nice, cant say the same for a lot of the locals though.

How would you compare the Australian wrestling scene to that in the UK?
I'd say its pretty similar in a lot of ways, I didnt have to adapt too much when I came over here.

Before you started training as a wrestler, were you a huge wrestling fan?
Yeah growing up I loved it... I dont think many people get into this without a lot of love for wrestling, and if they did they wouldnt last long. Youve got to have a lot of commitment.

Who were some of your favourite wrestlers?
Macho Man Randy Savage is legend!

WWE or TNA?
Hmmmmmm...... WWE probably at the mo. WWE generally infact.

Who is your current favourite wrestler?
I like Kofi Kingston, he's pretty cool, I like his dreads.

How would you best describe your wrestling style?
I would describe my wrestling style as 'sexy'.

What is your finishing move?
The Date With Destiny Tornado DDT. Came up with that myself you know.

Here at Mt Druitt tonight you wrestled Powerhouse Theo, who could be classed as one of Australia's best. How was that experience?
Painful mate, what do you think?

At the Cube "Break Out" event you will be wrestling "Iron Jay" Coles, one of our best up-and-coming talents. How do you prepare for that?
Ive learnt some lessons from the beating I took at the hands of Theo, so I'll take them on board, get down the gym, work hard, and hopefully stuff those fishfingers up his backside.
